AIT SmartGate

The AIT SmartGate is a scanning gate designed, for example, for use at truck loading docks. It enables the automatic scanning and capture of all 1D and 2D codes on one or two sides of a pallet. The pallet is moved through the scanning gate via a conveyor system, pallet truck, or forklift. The system automatically triggers the reading process using a built-in light barrier. The captured data (codes) can be transmitted via PROFINET or TCP/IP to a higher-level system or controller. Using an integrated script, the codes can also be pre-sorted and filtered.
