AIT EasyScan
In modern logistics and shipping operations, reliable and complete parcel identification is essential for transparent material flows, high process speeds, and error-free shipment tracking. AIT EasyScan is a powerful solution that identifies parcels quickly, reliably, and comprehensively both at goods receipt and goods dispatch.
The system has been specifically designed for high-throughput applications and demanding conveyor speeds. Using advanced machine vision technology, AIT EasyScan automatically captures all relevant shipment information and transfers it directly to higher-level systems such as ERP, WMS, or SAP. This creates end-to-end digital transparency throughout the logistics process.
A key advantage of AIT EasyScan is its high level of flexibility and scalability. Depending on the application, the system can be expanded to up to six camera sides, enabling virtually complete 360° parcel identification. This ensures reliable detection even when labels or codes are positioned in difficult-to-read locations at conveyor speeds of up to 3.5 m/s.
Thanks to omnidirectional code recognition, all common 1D and 2D codes can be read regardless of their orientation. Codes located underneath transparent packaging film can also be reliably identified. This results in exceptionally high read rates and prevents process interruptions caused by manual intervention.
AIT EasyScan also offers easy integration into existing systems. The solution can be seamlessly integrated into a wide range of conveyor systems or retrofitted into existing logistics lines. Its compact design makes it ideal for applications with limited installation space, while enabling quick commissioning.
Companies benefit from seamless parcel identification, optimized logistics processes, and significantly increased throughput. At the same time, errors are reduced, manual intervention is minimized, and overall process reliability is sustainably improved.
