OCR/OCV: Reading and verifying character strings

AIT OCR Inspector

The AIT OCR Inspector combines two technologies for reading (OCR) and verifying (OCV) single- and multi-line character strings and can be easily retrofitted into existing systems using the AIT OCR Workframe. Typical applications range from best-before dates on packaging to part marking (e.g., type/batch numbers), even with variable print quality and surfaces. OCR Deep Learning is available for challenging cases without parameterization, with training on approximately 50 image examples.
